The latest design of the inner frame, inspired by a semi-monocoque structure, allows you to replicate the construction of the mobile suit as shown in the original series of Mobile Suit Gundam.
The joint structure, which pays homage to the classic design, incorporates an innovative mechanism that allows the joints to bend precisely by reinterpreting the axes of movement. The legs have been redesigned under the concept of “MS Gundam for close combat,” using a composite frame that creates a humanoid profile even during movement.
The model is designed to minimize the visibility of the mounting holes, integrating them harmoniously with the rest of the figure. The head, with its complex color scheme, is faithfully reproduced by color-coding to the mold. Precise details have been added to the eyes, main chamber, magazine drum, and vents. Panel lines, reflecting the mechanical support, are divided into functional blocks, imitating real-life parting lines.
The exterior design combines a modern interpretation with a return to the character's origins, adding intricate details without losing the main silhouette. Curved edges and surfaces are clearly defined, and the white of the main body is constructed using two-tone molding, reimagining the RX-78-2 Gundam with a contemporary approach.
As an original feature of the line Real Grade, the chest armor covering the cockpit includes a mechanism that opens and closes.
